The office design for China Merchants Group in Shanghai Hongqiao merges subtle Chinese design elements with timeless, contemporary details and finishes to reflect the company’s rich history and business strength. Etched sea motifs and warm metal accents are a visual homage to the company’s merchant legacy while the large-scale use of stone and contrasting, textured white finishes accentuate strength and power in simplicity.
