Do you know how much waste we produce every day? In China, the number is 1.1 kg per person per day. In Beijing alone, 22,000 tonnes of trash are thrown away every day - enough to stretch around the entire Third Ring Road. Globally, 2 million plastic bags are used every minute and the average plastic bag is only used for 12 minutes. These plastics eventually enter the food chain and end up inside animals and humans.

Can we do something about this as individuals? Robarts Spaces invited GoZeroWaste founder Elsa Tang to share her inspirational thoughts and practical solutions for helping reduce our daily waste. Our colleagues have already put some of these learnings to use.
